The iPad stand is made of clear acrylic, which is lightweight, and resists shattering, impact, and most non-abrasive cleaners. The A-frame style stand has ledges at the upper and lower edges of its face. The lower ledges provide a stable base for resting the tablet, while the upper ledges prop the tablet to an ergonomic viewing angle. The stand can sit upright on its feet and hold tablets at a 68-degree angle, or it can rest on its backside to provide a 58-degree viewing angle. Both display options accommodate portrait or landscape tablet orientation. The stand noticeably enhances audio volume with its unique design. The universal stand can also be used with tablets in cases or with covers. Cutout holes between the stand's feet and at the top of the A-frame body allow power cords to thread through for charging tablets while viewing, and round speaker slots in the center of the stand permit sound to pass for music and video applications. The iPad stand measures 7 x 8 x 8 inches (W x H x D). (W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.)
